Our mission
The Office of Supportive Housing’s mission is to increase the supply of housing and supportive housing that is affordable and available to extremely low income and special needs households. This aligns with the County's mission of promoting a healthy, safe, and prosperous community by ending and preventing homelessness.
Ultimately, the solution to ending homelessness in the County is to build more affordable housing, prioritizing the poorest and most vulnerable residents who are disproportionately impacted by the lack of affordable housing.
