Transitional housing
Target population
Transitional housing with case management services is usually provided to specific subpopulations of homeless people including:
- Transition aged youth, 16 to 24 years old
- Domestic violence survivors
- Those in recovery from substance use disorders who desire more intensive support to achieve recovery goal
- People leaving jail or prison
Supportive services
- Temporary rent subsidy
- Case management with counseling for duration of program participation
- Various other employment, life skills supports
